Sprint.ly uses a tagging system rather than having unique fields for tracking sprints, milestones, components, etc. To track an iteration or sprint in Sprint.ly do the following:
- Create an item and tag it with a tag for your sprint (e.g. "sprint1" or "funkycodename").
- Click "Add filter", select "Tags" and enter your new sprint's tag.
- Click "Add item" to add an item to your new sprint. Note: You can use CMD+Enter to create an item and enter another to create items rapidly.
There are a number of ways you can track your sprints/iterations in Sprint.ly:
- Progress Our Progress view will show you the percentage of work that is completed, in progress and no started yet. Looking at this for your sprint tag will give you an idea of how much work is left to complete the sprint.
- Timelines The Timelines view shows you who on the team has too much, or too little, work on their plate. Filtering this view based on your sprint tag name will give you an idea of where potential bottlenecks may be and how you might better balance the workload for a sprint.
- Dashboard If you're looking for a 5,000 foot view of your work items, our Dashboard is a good place to start. It includes a focus graph, cadence graph, and a board that shows where all of your items sit in the queue.
- Daily Digests Once every 24 hours Sprintly sends out a daily digest email that includes details about what your team has been working on for the previous 24 hours.
